Karst of Laos
In February 2011, the "Geokarst Adventure" Association under the auspices of the French Speleological Federation and the Romanian Speleological Federation organized an expedition in the Khammouan Province (central part of Laos), to explore the karst systems located along the upstream section of the Nam Hinboun River.
The results include:
- exploration of 17 caves and resurgences
- collection and analysis of 13 water samples
- various karst, geological and hydrogeological observations.
